I ended up making lathe cuts after years involved in the DIY scene, releasing numerous tapes and CDs for myself and others. I always wanted to release small runs of records but struggled to find both reasonable prices and reliable cuts. My background means I genuinely understand the creative process, the challenges and the immense satisfaction of bringing your music to life on a tangible format. This directly shapes how I run Loosehair.  We believe in an approach that's built on fairness, transparency and a genuine respect for every artist and musician who trusts us with their sound.

Beyond our test cuts and A/B checks between your source material and those cuts, we monitor every single record as it's being cut in real-time.
